Fall is in the air
Fall is my favorite season, and I am happy it is once again back. One single thing puts this season above the rest for me. The fall foliage.
A new season always brings a breath of fresh air. New activities are once again possible. Season norms, new weather, and different outfits around.
Fall has to be one of my favorite seasons and honestly for just one single reason. The explosion of color that comes from the trees is just stunning. On my drive to the zoo yesterday, yellow trees lit up the right side of the street.
One of my favorite activities is to take an autumn walk/short hike. The crisp air brings a different feel than the summer warmth. Fleeces, jackets, and flannels become the norm for these adventures. Not to mention you are taking in vibrant reds, yellows, and oranges all over the place.
Next weekend I have a ski lift ride planned, and I cannot wait to be hoisted above the stunning foliage, getting the chance to see the colors again this season. In the meantime, here is a video I made last autumn of the fall colors in Stevens Point, WI.
